Let industry experts guide your job search

The global pandemic led to tens of millions of Americans losing employment and countless businesses permanently closing their doors in 2020. As the economy roared back in 2021 and 2022, competition for jobs became fierce. So did getting a resume and cover letter in front of a hiring manager.

With this new book, my business partner Ellis Fitch and I solicited hiring insights from recruiters, hiring managers, executives, and HR leaders. We also leaned on my own experience in hiring more than 100 people in the past few years, very few of whom were bad apples.

There are 57 misconceptions and hard truths in this book that will help readers see their blind spots.
