My father challenged me to learn King Crimson’s 11-minute epic “Fracture” when I was 16 years old in 1998.
It was the only song that physically hurt to play. It required something I didn’t have and couldn’t figure out.
18 years later, the song’s composer wrote “Fracture is impossible to play.” That explained a few things.
